Harry Skelton is one of the most prolific National Hunt jockeys in the country. A leading figure on the UK jumps scene, he now works almost exclusively with his brother Dan, a highly regarded racehorse trainer. With an impressive haul of Grade 1 wins to his name, Harry was crowned British Champion Jumps Jockey in 2021 and won the inaugural David Power Jockeys' Cup in 2025. At Schöffel Country we've greatly enjoyed working with Harry since early 2024, following his success and visiting him at his yard in Warwickshire on several occasions.

Since riding his first winner at the age of 17, Harry has gone on to collect a wide range of accolades and prizes in National Hunt racing.
In 2009, aged 19, Harry became the youngest ever winner of the Irish Grand National, aboard Niche Market. His first Cheltenham Festival victory came in 2016, a win he has followed up many times since atop well-known horses including Protektorat, Langer Dan, The New Lion, and Grey Dawning.
Away from Cheltenham, Harry has won notable Grade 1s such as the Betfair Chase and the Kauto Star Novices' Chase. In 2021 he was crowned British Champion Jockey. And in 2025 he scooped the largest monetary prize ever in UK jumps racing when he won the David Power Jockeys' Cup.
Over the years, Harry has supported charities including the Care for Children and Elders Association and Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance.
