For centuries we've been drawn north by a strong sense of adventure, to places that still deal in silence and space.
As autumn arrives and Scotland’s palette turns to brassy browns and golds and greys, something in us turns, too. We look to the rivers and the hills, where Mother Nature has room to gallop.
There's a rhythm to a day in the Highlands that asks nothing of us but presence. We slow down and lean into the things that keep us coming back. In wild country shaped by weather and seasons, lies a ruggedness that resets us.
We notice the small comforts as we crave a little friction. Wind licks the exposed heather. Rain arrives without warning. The ground underfoot is uneven. Among it all, a chance to refocus on life's simple pleasures. A warm coat. Cold air in our lungs. The wildlife. Company kept.
Traditions here transcend time. Nothing feels overly arranged; everything feels connected to the land. The absence of distractions keeps us present.
By evening, the lodge exhales its own kind of warmth. Boots come off at the door; wet layers give way to knitwear. Drams are poured, and the day is retold. Board games are dealt out on tables that have hosted a hundred parties before ours.
We recount our route, the stag on the ridge, the pony that wouldn't budge, the eagles way up. Stories layer on stories, the way they always do here, until the fire burns low and the glen outside falls pitch dark. Tomorrow, we'll go again.
Our AW26 campaign was photographed on location at Tulchan Estate, Speyside.
