Tom McEwen is one of the UK's most successful event riders of all time. A double Olympic Gold Medallist, he is a five-star event winner who has been competing at the highest level since 2011. An avid proponent of the special bond between horse and rider, Tom is particularly fond of cross-country and, as someone who demands performance and durability from the clothes he wears, we're very proud to work with him at Schöffel Country.

“I'm super excited to be working with Schöffel Country – a brand that produces high-quality, long-lasting and really functional clothes that are well suited to and not yet used enough in the equestrian world!”
Making his debut at four-star level at Burghley Horse Trials in 2011, Tom quickly became a name to watch on the international stage. That same year, he was part of the team that took home gold in the Young Rider European Championships.
In 2019, he won his first major five-star event, Pau. The following year, at the Tokyo Olympic Games, he stepped onto the podium twice, achieving both team gold and individual silver.
Awarded an MBE for services to equestrianism in 2022, Tom went on to win team gold again at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.
Tom works with numerous charities, including The Georgie Campbell Foundation, the British Eventing Support Trust, and Strength and Learning Through Horses.
