Tom Youngs left very few boxes unticked as a professional rugby player, representing Leicester Tigers 215 times, picking up 28 caps for England, and earning a spot in the British and Irish Lions Team. His second passion, though, has always been farming, and since his retirement in 2022, he has become the fourth generation of his family to work full-time on the farm in Norfolk – a place we've very much enjoyed visiting as we collaborate with Tom on all things farming.

“I really like how Schöffel Country gets out there and tells the stories of the boots on the ground in the countryside. There’s real substance behind what they are doing as a brand – they clearly do care. And their clothing is of a very high quality, there’s no doubt about that.”

Throughout his rugby career, Tom picked up many accolades. A standout season was 2012/2013 when he was named Aviva Premiership Player of the Year, lifted the premiership trophy at Twickenham with Leicester Tigers, and earned his place on the British and Irish Lions Tour to Australia.

Often playing alongside his brother, Ben, Tom also won the Anglo-Welsh Cup twice with Tigers, became a familiar face in the England front row, and in 2016 was appointed club captain at Leicester.

Tom has worked with and supported charities including Blood Cancer UK, and serves as an ambassador for The Royal Countryside Fund, which helps family farms and rural communities.
