"My wife is absolutely delighted with this Gilet fleece. It is very comfortable and warm with enough leather edging to make it different and stylish. We were prepared to make a long journey to see the fleece and try it on as we are not very keen on buying without trying. A phone call to Schoffel identified a close stockist and she was able to try the Gilet on for comfort - wrong colour though. We saw another Schoffel fleece in the right colour and finally purchased over the net. Delivery was within a couple of days - Happy bunnies!"

Thrilled with my new gilet!

"Thrilled with my new gilet! It is beautifully made and the attention to the small details make a real difference to how it looks and feels. Very soft and cosy and I love the gunmetal colour instead of the usual black. I feel the sizing is perhaps slightly on the small size. I usually wear a size 12 but would probably go up to 14 for a jacket as I might want several layers. In this instance the 16 was my choice and it’s perfect."

I have wanted a gilet

"I have wanted a gilet from you for a long time. My husband has one he loves - his was purchased in a shop rather than online. The stitching between zip and fleece on mine failed after one wear - I have repaired it. I am not seeking any compensation but you should look at strengthening stitching. Disappointing as an expensive piece of clothing."

I absolutely love my Schoffel

"I absolutely love my Schoffel gilet. It has quickly become the piece I reach for without even thinking about it — whether I’m heading out for a walk, visiting the farm or simply want an extra layer on a chilly day. I chose the navy and I’m so pleased I did. It looks lovely with jeans and my brown boots, but still feels smart enough to wear when I’m out and about. It’s warm without being bulky, comfortable enough to wear all day and, most importantly, makes me feel really good wearing it. I think the best clothes are the ones that become part of your everyday life, rather than something you save for special occasions. This is definitely one of those pieces for me. "Very comfortable and I love the way it feels, fits me perfectly and absolutely love the draw string as it give you the suck in feel. And it’s hidden away and you are the only person who can see it. Will be great for the autumn as it’s not too cold yet! And keeps you nice and warm. Would love to get more in future but unsure on what colours as they are all lovely, would love to try a quarter zip. Always been a fan of your products but never had the money to treat myself to one! Wearing ur products would benefit me from feeling the chill when I go to my horse yard with my goats and my chickens. Many thanks for this great product I really enjoy it!"
