Competition Terms & Conditions
1. The Promoter
The promoter is: Bradshaw Taylor Limited of 16 Mill Street, Oakham, Rutland, UK, LE15 6EA (trading as Schöffel Country) (the “Promoter”).
2. The competition
2.1 The title of the competition is Monthly reviews competition.
2.2 The competition will comprise a monthly prize draw where the prize will be a £200 voucher to be able to be redeemed on the Schöffel Country website.
3. How to enter
3.1 The competition will run from 09:00am on 1st July 2025 (the "Opening Date") and will continue on a monthly basis until it is cancelled or withdrawn by the Promoter in which event the competition will close on the last day of the month in which such cancellation or withdrawal is effected (the "Closing Date") inclusive.
3.2 The competition will be open to all eligible entrants who leave a product review on Schöffel Country in the month in which the prize draw is made and who have complied with these terms and conditions.
3.3 To enter the competition you must submit a product review for an item you have purchased using the entrants own email address and name by midnight on the penultimate day of the month (the “Monthly Closing Date”). A product review left or posted after the Monthly Closing Date will be automatically entered in the competition for the following month.
3.4 No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to enter the competition.
3.5 The Promoter will not accept responsibility for competition entries that are corrupted, not successfully completed or transmitted, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, website, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
3.6 By submitting a competition entry, you confirm that:
(a) You agree to be bound by these terms and conditions;
(b) You are entering on your own behalf and not on behalf of any other person;
(c) You are over 18 years of age; and
(d) You are a UK resident

3.8 The competition winner for the month will be chosen on the last day of the month (or the next working day if the last day of the month falls on a bank holiday or weekend) by an online random generator drawn from all the new customer reviews left or posted in that month on the Website and subject to the Promoter being satisfied that the eligibility criteria have been met. The decision of the Promoter (acting reasonably) will be final.
4. Eligibility
4.1 The competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
(a) employees of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies;
(b) employees of agents or suppliers of the Promoter or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the competition or its administration; or
(c) members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
4.2 In entering the competition, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim the prize. The Promoter may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the competition.
4.3 The Promoter will not accept competition entries that:
(a) are automatically generated by computer or created by artificial intelligence (including but not limited to chatbots such as ChatGPT or similar software applications);
(b) are completed by third parties or in bulk;
(c) are illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
(d) do not have a valid email address; or
(e) are incomplete.
5. The prize
5.1 The prize for each month is one £200 voucher redeemable against purchases made on the Website.
5.2 There is no cash alternative for the prize.
5.3 The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so.
5.4 The prize is not negotiable or transferable.
6. Winners and claiming the prize
6.1 The decision of the Promoter regarding the winner is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
6.2 The Promoter will contact the winner personally as soon as practicable after the Monthly Closing Date (but usually no later than the 4th day of the following month) using the email address provided with the competition entry (the “Winner Notification Email”). The winner must confirm that they accept the prize by acknowledging receipt of the Winner Notification Email by replying to the Winner Notification Email within 7 days of the date of the Winner Notification Email. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw the prize for that month and chose a different winner in accordance with these terms and conditions. Upon receipt of the acknowledgement of the Winner Notification Email the Promoter will email the prize voucher to the winner using the same email address.
6.3 The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of prize winners to anyone who emails support@schoffelcountry.com or writes to the address set out in condition 1 above marked FAO Digital Team 16 Mill St, Oakham LE15 6EA (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the Closing Date of the competition.
6.4 If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter at support@schoffelcountry.com. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
6.5 The prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
6.6 The Promoter does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up or claim the prize.
7. Limitation of liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
8. Data protection and publicity
8.1 The Promoter will only process your personal information as set out in the https://www.schoffelcountry.com/pages/privacy-policy. See also condition 6.3 and condition 6.4, with regard to the announcement of winners.
9. General
9.1 If there is any reason to believe that you may not meet the eligibility criteria and/or there has been a breach by you of these terms and conditions, the Promoter may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the competition.
9.2 The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw, change, or cancel the competition at any time and its decision in all matters will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
9.3 The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the prize competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
9.4 These terms and conditions are governed by English law. If any entrants to this promotion wish to take court proceedings, then they must do this within the English courts.

Entries received after the Monthly Closing Date will be automatically entered in the competition for the following month.
3.4 No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the Website or to enter the competition.

3.2 The competition is open to all eligible entrants who complete the following entry requirements before the Closing Date:
(a) Follow @schoffelcountry and @rocking_the_cotswolds on Instagram;
(b) Like the giveaway post;
(c) Comment on the post and tag a friend, one comment is one entry. Comment as many times as you like.

The winners must confirm that they accept the prize by acknowledging receipt of the Winner Notification Message by replying to the Winner Notification Message within 3 days of the date of the Winner Notification Message. Failure to do so will result in the prize being forfeited and the Promoter reserves the right to re-draw the prize and chose a different winner in accordance with these terms and conditions. Upon receipt of the acknowledgement of the Winner Notification Message the Promoter will email the prize voucher to the winner using the same email address.
6.3 The Promoter will only contact the Winners on the Instagram account they used to enter via the official @schoffelcountry account. This competition is in no way endorsed, affiliated with, administered, or sponsored by Instagram.
6.4 By entering, you consent that, if you win, your name, phone number and email address will be available to the Promoter for the sole purpose of confirming the identity of the winner and organising your prize.

3.1 The competition will run from 07:00am on 29th September 2025 (the "Opening Date") and will close at 07:00am on 13th October 2025 (the "Closing Date").
3.2 The competition will be open to all UK eligible entrants who comply with these terms and conditions.
3.3 To enter the competition, you must enter online by either completing the entry form and opting into our newsletter on Schöffel Country website or via our social media ads on Meta using the entrants own email address and name before the Closing Date. This competition is in no way endorsed, affiliated with, administered, or sponsored by Meta.
3.4 No purchase is necessary and there is no charge to register for use of the Schöffel Country website or to enter the competition.

5.5 The two-night stay at Lord Crewe Arms must be taken within 12 months, dates subject to availability and excludes Christmas Eve/Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Eve/Day. Prize for one twin or double room at the Lord Crewe Arms.
5.6 Travel to and from Lord Crewe Arms is not included in the prize.
5.7 £40 dinner allowance per person per night.
5.8 Allowance of up two dogs to stay alongside guests (dogs must be over one year old).
