What to wear grouse hunting for men & women

The iconic Glorious 12th. Nothing stokes excitement like this important date in the sporting calendar, kicking off the start of the fieldsports season. If you are fortunate enough to be able to have a chance at shooting these wild birds, you will know that it is their unpredictability that make them so illustrious, and they are found on some of the most stunning estates in the UK.

Due to the fact that these are wild birds, grouse numbers fluctuate each year. With a relatively short hunting season of just 121 days, it makes it even more exciting to manage to get a day up on the hill.
