When it comes to choosing the right fabrics and creating shirts that fit perfectly, our design team is meticulous. We are constantly tweaking our fits and weaves to make sure there is something for everyone, regardless of shape and size, in our high-quality range of comfortable and stylish shirts.

How should a shirt fit?

Choosing the right shirt fit depends on various factors including personal preference, body type, and the occasion you'll be wearing the shirt for. Here are some tips to help you choose the right shirt fit:

Body type. Different shirt fits flatter different body types. For example, if you have a slim build, a tailored- fit shirt may be more flattering, while individuals with a larger build may feel more comfortable and confident in a classic fit shirt.

Consider the occasion. Think about where you'll be wearing the shirt. For formal occasions such as weddings, or professional settings, a tailored- fit shirt may be more appropriate.

Pay attention to comfort. Make sure the shirt allows you to move freely and doesn't feel too restrictive or too loose. A well-fitting shirt should feel comfortable both when you're standing still and when you're on the move.

What is a tailored fit shirt?

A tailored shirt fit is characterized by a more precise and contoured silhouette compared to a classic- fit shirt. It is crafted to closely follow the shape of the wearer's body, providing a sleek and polished appearance. Tailored shirts typically have narrower shoulders, a tapered waist, and slimmer sleeves, resulting in a more fitted look overall. This style is often favoured for its modern and refined aesthetic, making it suitable for formal or business settings where a sharp, well-groomed appearance is desired.

What is a classic fit shirt?

A classic shirt fit typically refers to a style of shirt that is neither too tight nor too loose, providing a balanced and comfortable fit. It’s a more traditional, regular fit and usually features a straight cut through the body and sleeves, offering enough room for movement without excess fabric. This makes classic-fit shirts particularly well-suited to country and agricultural lifestyles. Classic shirts are designed to have a timeless appeal, suitable for various occasions and body types. They are a versatile and practical wardrobe staple that can be dressed up or down depending on the need.

How to measure for a shirt

Chest. Measure your chest around its fullest part, place the tape close under the arms and make sure the tape is flat across the back. Keep your body relaxed and do not puff your chest out.

Waist. Measure the narrowest part of your waist. Once again, keep your body relaxed and do not suck your gut in. Wrap the measuring tape around your waist; keep it loose enough so that you can still breathe.

Collar. Wrap the measuring tape around the base of your neck. Keep it loose enough so that you can slide 2 fingers under it.

Sleeve. Measure from your shoulder down to your wrist, or wherever you want the cuff to be.
